The PADI Resort Course lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in a pool or pool like conditions. During your adventure, you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off on an open water adventure in Lake George.
Has it been a while since you’ve been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Refresher Course reacquaints you with diving so that you’re back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day. Combine your Scuba Review with your dives on the Halfmoon Explorer to sharpen your skills and safely explore the underwater world of Lake George.
Discover Local Diving
Supervised underwater tour designed to orient divers to unfamiliar aquatic conditions and environments such as our northern cold water.The guidance provided by PADI professionals allows participants to comfortably explore different underwater environments, find items of interest and avoid potential hazards. This course can be offered as part of your experience on the Halfmoon Explorer charter or at another dive site of your choice.
Open Water Certification
This is where it all begins! To become an accomplished scuba diver, first you learn the fundamentals and then build on these basic skills. Experience your first breath underwater and change your life forever.
Advanced Open Water Diver This course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. It is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. It builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun with scuba diving.
Assistant Instructor Certification As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional scuba diver, but you also start learning the PADI System of diver education.You can act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities

What You Learn
You build upon your abilities to organize and supervise scuba diving activities, while concentrating on developing teaching skills. You learn through:

• Confined water skill review and assessment, workshops and presentations
• Open water workshops, rescue assessment and candidate presentations
Emergency First Response Emergency First Response is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills – and they’re for anyone, not just divers.
What You Learn in the EFR Primary and Secondary Care Courses
• BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level
• AED (automated external defibrillator) use (optional)
• Preventing and caring for shock
• Spinal injury management
• Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk
• Basic first aid and first aid kit considerations
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First aid and CPR are good skills for anyone involved in adventure sports – just in case. And, you need these skills for the PADI Rescue Diver course.
Rescue Diver After completing the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you’re qualified to begin the PADI Rescue Diver course, which teaches you emergency prevention, intervention and management. Talk to those who’ve been there – almost without exception, you’ll hear that the PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most challenging and rewarding courses you can complete as a diver.
